Launch: FLAC Annual Report 2011

FLAC is launching its annual report for 2011 on Monday, June 18.

FLAC's work in 2011 - based around the three interconnecting cogs of advice & information, analysis and advocacy - has been focused on improving Ireland's support systems; providing legal assistance, fighting for fairness in social welfare and tackling personal debt. FLAC's daily contact with people on the ground tells us that many are finding themselves in situations where they need state support, whether short or long-term, through no fault of their own. In 2011 FLAC saw increased calls to its telephone information line and queries at our voluntary advice centres.

The FLAC Annual Report 2011 will be available to download in PDF at www.flac.ie from Tuesday, 19 June.
