Why donate to FLAC?

What we do matters

In 2015, almost 29,000 people all around Ireland directly received free legal information and advice through FLAC’s telephone information line and network of legal advice centres. Thousands more benefited from basic legal information resources available on this website which aim to inform people about their rights and how the law affects them in their day to day lives.

Our campaigning work for fairer systems seeks to improve access to justice for all people in Ireland, regardless of income or background. You can learn more about the issues we seek to address on our priority areas page.

But to continue this work, we need your support. FLAC is an independent non-governmental organisation and all of its services are provided to the public free of charge. We have a small staff and one office supported by a dedicated team of interns and hundreds of volunteer lawyers all around Ireland.

In order to deliver on our mission of equal access to justice for all, FLAC must secure funding each year through a combination of donations from the public, grants from statutory bodies and foundations, and contributions from the legal professions.
