FLAC extends condolences to family, friends and colleagues of Jamess MacGuill SC

FLAC was saddened to learn of the death of James MacGuill SC. In the 1980s, James was a FLAC Council member and ran a FLAC Clinic. James was a fearless, groundbreaking and preeminent public interest lawyer who took on cases which may otherwise have never been heard.

He provided inspiration to lawyers committed to using the law to achieve social change. His death is a huge loss to access to justice in Ireland.
