“We are facing daunting contemporary challenges of populism, climate catastrophe, attacks on the rule of law, inequalities, pandemics and digitalization.
As legal advocates and legal activists these challenges provide powerful reasons to reform, innovate and strengthen the tools and practices of human rights and anti-discrimination movements for the future.
This is a rare opportunity to hear a leading international legal perspective. Join us to hear Professor Gráinne de Búrca, author of ‘Reframing Human Rights in a Turbulent Era’, reflect on these challenges and mobilising human rights in Ireland’.
Eilis Barry, FLAC CE

He was Community Law Officer at Coolock Community Law Centre (now Community Law & Mediation) for more than 20 years. Dave Ellis subsequently established Community Legal Resource to provide information, training and support for the not-for-profit and community sector.
